Farmville Domination Review
Summary: I’ve seen this before, haven’t I? Oh yes, in Farmville Secrets. . .
If you’ve seen a couple of the Farmville guides out there, you’ll be startled by this one. When I opened the file and saw the pretty green cover, I kept thinking “Where have I seen this before?
Oh yes. It’s Farmville Secrets with a slightly different cover and title. As you scroll through the guide (try opening them side by side and examining the index) you’ll see all the things you liked about Farmville Secrets. Good charts, straight talk without fluff, and thankfully good English. The only thing that you won’t see are the plentiful screenshots that you find throughout Farmville Secrets.

What You Get
- Information for both the beginner and mid-level gamer
- Charts to calculate the best possible crops
- Helpful index
- Same basic content as Farmville Secrets without the screenshots
The Good News
The language is a little more scholarly than in Farmville Secrets. The author is not only a native English speaker, but a well-spoken one. The charts are helpful, if a little obvious, at least they save you doing some math. The index section titles are sometimes a little obscure, but nothing that will do more than momentarily pause you. All in all a pretty solid guide.
The Bad News
Who hid the graphics?? Unlike its twin Farmville Secrets, Farmville Domination doesn’t feature any screenshots to help illustrate its points. I get the feeling that Farmville Domination is nothing more than a rip-off designed by a person too lazy to put in graphics. Still, if it’s cheaper than Farmville Secrets and you don’t mind providing your own pictures, buy it. You won’t be missing anything—it’s all the same information repackaged.
Conclusion
If you don’t like graphics, you could buy this guide and get good content, but I’d rather have the same content with graphics in Farmville Secrets.
